Surveying with point cloud and Workshop design of the reconstructed structure

For our regular partner, we carried out a workshop design of a reconstructed steel structure that had been damaged. Three levels were damaged from level +30.40m to level 0. Important in this project was the use of a point cloud, to investigate the extent of damage and deformation that had occurred, in order to accurately model the connections to the elements that were not being replaced. The main static calculations were carried out by the Employer, our task was to design the connections of the joints together with an analysis of the feasibility. The entire design work was completed in about five months.
